Cheshire Women's Collaboration is an influencing/ Campaigning voluntary group that I currently chair.
I set up the collaboration, the idea is based on the Greater Manchester collaboration GM4Women, Their collaboration is championed by Dr Helen Pankhurst who has helped shape my idea and is very much based on the same concept - bringing women together to bring about positive change.
Aims:
To bring a network of Women organisations & Women together to work collaboratively to influence change and support each other with individual campaigns and support services.
Mission:
The Women of Cheshire and beyond.
This is not be a political group but is a group where we work with local councilors and MPs to share our findings and provide a voice for women.
We currently have 5 main sub groups:
Below is a report of what we have been up to. Please do get in touch with us if you want to join us - we would love for you to be involved.
